Letters to the future, kept until their day.
A place for the slower kind of message.
Dear Future is a digital time capsule for the words you are not ready to say yet. You write a letter, attach a few memories, choose the day it should arrive, and then you seal it. Until that morning comes, the letter stays closed — not only to the person it is addressed to, but to everyone, including you. There is no taking it back. That is the whole point.
What it does
A capsule holds one letter and the memories that belong with it: photographs, a song, a short recording, a note you scribbled at midnight. You decide who it is for — your future self, a friend, a child who is not born yet — and the exact date and time it opens. We count the days down with you and let you send a quiet link, so the person on the other end knows something is waiting without ever learning what it says.
Who it is for
Dear Future is for anyone with something worth keeping. People writing to the person they are becoming, parents saving a voice for a first birthday, friends marking a promise, and anyone who wants a kinder record of an ordinary, beautiful day. You do not need an occasion. You just need a few honest lines and a date to send them to.
Who builds it
Dear Future is designed and built by a small, independent team of writers and makers who wanted a home for the message that takes years to arrive. We build it quietly, we keep every letter private by default, and we read each note that reaches us.
